Smart Assistants
With the advent of smartphones, technology has become a daily consumable for most people. With a calculator, calendar, messaging tools, social media, maps with GPS, and internet search engines, the smartphone aids in making our lives more comfortable.
We have apps for everything we need today. Choosing the right one is a challenge we face today.
Although technology makes things easier, it is also putting a dent on the individual’s social relationships by creating a self-centric, isolated world.
Technology is a real enabler. We can find solutions for several problems, but there is also a problem when there are too many solutions to a single problem, which sometimes becomes a hindrance rather than an enabler.
When we are stuck in an unknown territory and don’t have a direction to go, collective human intelligence is the only way to seek a solution.
Whatever your life goals are or whatever the problem you are stuck on, try to find the people who can mentor and assist you to overcome the obstacle quicker.
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
-Jim Rohn
To create a chain of assistance look at the number of people you are interacting with and divide them into three parts.
- One-third of them are people who more or less are at the same level as you, who you can discuss and socialize with.
- The second-third are the people who have achieved ten-fold compared to you. While it may be intimidating to go with them, they have already went through the same roadmap which you want to travel, and they will be happy to share their experience which can help you.
- The last one-third are the people who are looking at you for your guidance, and by helping them you can feel content.
People are the real smart assistants that you can count on to achieve success. Giving and taking is the secret sauce of life to make life the fullest.
